WPDH Album of the Week: Paul McCartney and Wings ‘Band on the Run’

Released in December 1973, Band on the Run was the fifth album from Paul McCartney since leaving the Beatles. The album was a commercial success with singles "Jet" and "Band on the Run". The album is McCartney's most successful album, and it was the biggest selling album of 1974 in the U.K. and Australia. It was also Paul McCartney's last album on the Apple label and it ranked number 415 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time".
