So here's a debate I've had many times over the years: when is it socially acceptable to start bumping Christmas music?

Now, to be clear, I'm firmly in the pro-Christmas music camp. I can hear it any time in the year and it won't bother me (Unless it's a really bad song. Looking at you, "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth"). But many people I know can only tolerate it for a few weeks out of the year. So when's the cutoff date?

Do you start the day after Thanksgiving? December 1st? The week of Christmas? There's a whole lot of potential options, and everybody likely has a different answer. The only logical solution is to make a Christmas playlist so awesome that it's totally acceptable to play it any time of the year. So basically, I'm putting "Christmas in Hollis" by Run-DMC on a loop and bringing it everywhere I go. You're welcome, world.
