Over the past 40 years there have been endless lists that attempted to count down the best moments of Saturday Night Live. As a life long fan of the show I'm finally going to stick my neck out and declare the greatest SNL skit of all time...

Synchronized Swimming

Long before Best In Show and Waiting For Guffman, Christoper Guest and Harry Shearer teamed up for this classic SNL "mockumentary" about a couple of unlikely Olympic synchronized swimmers. Long before Digital Shorts were a thing, this 5 minute film captured everything that I love about Saturday Night Live. It's completely silly, it includes Martin Short and there are more quotable lines than I can even keep track of. Don't remember? Enjoy it again right here:
