Can actual Bernie Sanders supporters tell the difference between quotes from the presidential candidate and lyrics from the band R.E.M.?

WPDH's own "Bernie Sandwich" crashed the Sanders rally at Marist College in Poughkeepsie on Tuesday. The event, which included special guest Michael Stipe from R.E.M., was attended by thousands of supporters who waited outside for hours hoping to make it inside.

Dressed in an over-sized suit with wild, white hair, our own Bernie Sandwich read actual lyrics from R.E.M. songs and lines from real Bernie Sanders speeches to those in line. Could they tell the difference? But first, we wanted to find out if any of the supporters actually know who R.E.M. is:

Bernie Sandwich also hit the inside the rally, whipping the crowd into a frenzy with his wild dance moves. At one point, he got the entire McCann Arena to do "the wave" as they waited for Sanders to appear.

Our unlikely superstar also wound up getting interviewed by several national media outlets, thinking that he was some sort of superfan. Little did they know he was just Meat Sandwich the producer of "The Boris and Robyn Show" infiltrating the convention.
