UPDATE: Tuesday Afternoon Taconic Accident Cleared

UPDATE: This accident has been cleared.

A serious accident closed the Taconic State Parkway northbound as of 4:15 Tuesday afternoon. The closure was between Route 52 and Carpenter Road (East Fishkill). Additionally, one lane southbound was shut as well. There is no word on injured motorists at this point.

A tornado warning was issued by the National Weather Service for parts of Dutchess County earlier this afternoon but that was lifted at 3:15 PM.
