
Police Save Woman From Overdose at Hudson Valley Motel
Police administered Narcan to woman who overdosed at a motel in Orange County.
On Tuesday November 7, 2017, at approximately 2:09 p.m. police officers from the Town of Wallkill responded to an "Emergency Medical Services" call at a Super 8 Motel.
Upon arrival, police discovered a 22 year old, female, Goshen, N.Y. resident unconscious in the restroom.
The victim was unresponsive and demonstrating signs of an overdose. Officers began delivering emergency first aid.
One officer administered a dose of Narcan to the victim nasally. Within one minute, the victim regained consciousness and was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center by ambulance.
