An inmate was charged with two felony counts, after prison staff found homemade weapons in his cell. 

Staff at the Shawangunk Correctional Facility discovered the weapons in the inmate's cell, and State Police charged Adam J. Robinson, 29, with two counts first-degree promoting prison contraband, a class D felony, according to a Press Release. .

The two homemade knives, one made with a can lid, the other from sharpened raw metal, were found in the binding of a hard cover book in the inmate's personal cell. Robinson remains at Shawangunk Correctional Facility, and will be arraigned in court at a later date.
