Congrats to the Little League World Series champions, Maine-Endwell.

Maine-Endwell defeated South Korea 2-1 Sunday to become the first team from New York state to win the Little League World Series since 1964. They are also the first American team to win the tournament in five years.

Syracuse.com reports that 23, 211 spectators in South Williamsport, PA watched the Broome County team complete a perfect 24-0 season. The game was also televised on ABC.

If these kids were nervous then they sure didn't show it.

Of course, they're pretty accustomed to win big games, like they did Saturday when they beat a team from Tennessee to complete the American leg of the tournament.

Who knows? Some of these kids may be playing in the Majors some day, earning the big bucks. According to ESPN, 45 players who played in the Little League World Series made it to Major League Baseball.

Congrats!
