My Lost Treasure: The Band

Happy almost Thanksgiving! I hope you're warm and cozy, and getting ready to enjoy a meal with family and friends. I can't help but to think of The Band's Last Waltz when Thanksgiving rolls around. It was recorded on Thanksgiving Day in 1976.

It was The Band's final performance. Or at least The Band as we knew them back then. They were joined by a slew of great musicians including Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Neil Diamond, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters, Van Morrison, and a whole lot more. It's an iconic album and movie, and if you have never checked it out, you absolutely must. It's a music lovers dream come true. A real life fantasy concert.
