‘Impressive’ New Park Officially Opens In Orange County, NY

There are so many great parks that we can visit within the Hudson Valley. This could be for a picnic, a nice stroll, to spend time in nature or to visit a playground.

Where Are Your Favorite Parks In The Hudson Valley?

We can visit a lot of state parks within New York state including Hudson Highlands State Park in Cold Spring and Franny Reese State Park in Highland, NY.

I still love stopping by playgrounds and going on the swing, being in that fun state of mind. Sometimes, there’s also other amenities such as tennis and basketball available at local parks. Adults and children can now visit a new park in the Hudson Valley for some fun!

Recently, a new park opened within Monroe, NY and residents already love it.

'Impressive' Airplane Park Officially Opens In Monroe, NY

The Village of Monroe New York made a post on social media highlighting that this park is now open. We can visit Airplane Park in Monroe! They invite the community to come out and see it. The hours of Airplane Park include dawn to dusk.

Several local, Hudson Valley businesses helped support this project. The grand opening of this park was on July 21, 2025.

From the pictures and videos that I saw, it looks so clean and like a lot of fun for kids! I’m gonna go down a slide and swing too! However, on the Village of Monroe’s website, it mentions that this park is open for village residents only.
