Hudson Valley Honor Flight Postpones Spring Flights
Unfortunately due to the current Coronavirus health crisis, Hudson Valley Honor Flight has postponed two upcoming spring flights.
The decision was made after much debate, however, the health and safety of their veterans is their number one priority. In addition, the vast majority of the veterans fall under the high-risk category and should avoid air travel.
Hudson Valley Honor Flight has rescheduled the two May flights to take place in the fall. The first of the two flights will depart from Westchester County Airport on September 19, and the second from Stewart International Airport on October 10.
Chairman, Frank Kimler said:
We at Hudson Valley Honor Flight are deeply saddened that we have to postpone our flights until the fall, however, our next flight dates will be here before we know it and our team will continue to honor our veterans with an experience of a lifetime. We also want to thank the entire Hudson Valley community for their patience and continued support for our faithful and blessed mission
