
Hudson Valley City Named One Of Most Dangerous In U.S.
Of the two cities in New York that made the list of 'Most Dangerous in the U.S.', one of them is in the Hudson Valley.
Alarms.org published a list of the 'Top 100 Most Dangerous Cities in the U.S.'. The rankings were made based on violent crimes per 1,000 people. The most dangerous city in the United States is Anniston, Alabama, with just over 34 violent crimes per 1,000 people.
The Hudson Valley city that made the list came in at number 58, the highest of the two cities in New York that made the list. Newburgh was the city in the Hudson Valley that made the list. Newburgh has just over 12 violent crimes per 1,000 people, according to Alarms.org.
Niagara Falls is the other city in New York that made the list, coming in at number 84. Niagara Falls has just over 11 violent crimes per 1,000 people, as reported by Alarms.org.
