How to Land Your Dream Job at Legoland in Goshen
Legoland will soon be hiring more than 1,000 employees to keep their resort and theme park running in Goshen. Here's how you can get a jump start on the competition.
Much like how Walt Disney World calls their employees "Cast Members," Legoland refers to their workers as "Model Citizens." With an opening date scheduled in 2020, Legoland New York is going to need an army of "Model Citizens" to make it happen.
According to an announcement from Legoland this week, over 1,000 openings will be posted for the new resort and theme park as it gets closer to opening day. If it's a dream of yours to work inside Legoland there is a way that you can get a head start on the hiring process right now.
According to current Legoland employees, there are some pretty cool perks that come with the job. Workers report to Glassdoor.com that they receive a 30% discount at the resort stores, which is a Lego collector's dream. If that's not enough, all employees have access to free passes for any amusement park owned by their parent company, Merlin Entertainment. This includes all of the Legoland resorts and Discovery Centers located in the country, as well as Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in New York City. Those passes can even be given to friends and family to use.
Currently, there is just one position posted for the New York resort. That listing is for a logistics and procurement manager to help organize purchases being made as the theme park is being built.
If you're interested in a career at Legoland, you can register your information now at their employment website so you're ready to apply once new openings are posted.
