Sunday's storms and humidity are expected to give way for beautiful weather Monday. But will it last?

It's still a ways off, but meteorologists are saying the summer's first official heatwave could be impacting the Hudson Valley by this coming Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures climbing into the 90s.

Ealry week should be nice, with seasonable highs in the afternoon and cool nights. However, the humidity returns by mid week, with a chance of thunderstorms.

Then it's really gets hot.

Highs Saturday and Sunday are currently expected to reach 91 to 94 degrees. the heat is expected to stick around into the ealry part of the week after, with highs Monday, July 2, expected to top 90 once again.

Stay indoors if you can. if not, stay hydrated if you're working outdoors, or planning a Fourth of July get together.
