Dispute Over Crab Legs at Connecticut Restaurant Turns Violent
Get your hands off my crab legs!
An argument over crab legs turned violent Saturday night at a Connecticut restaurant. WVIT is reporting that the dispute got out of hand at the Royal Buffet in Manchester, CT, resulting in a juvenile being hit in the face.
During the fight, the juenvile's mother used pepper spray, in what she said was self defense.
Clifford Knight and Latoya Knight were both arrested by police according to WVIT. Clifford Knight is charged with third-degree assault and disorder conduct. Latoya Knight is charged with disorderly conduct and threatening.
The Manchester Fire Department had to be called to air out the building after the pepper spray was deployed.
No word on exactly how the fight started, or who threw the first punch. One thing is sure, some people take their crab legs very seriously.
