City of Poughkeepsie Brawl Caught On Video

A dramatic street fight in the City of Poughkeepsie was recently caught on video. This is not something you want to watch at work based on language and other adult content. The undated video was posted to YouTube on Aug. 11 by user Malcolm Jeffereson.

The video opens with what is clearly a heated argument on Main Street, it's unclear what the women are fighting about. The argument carries on for around 20 seconds when, from out of the frame, another fight develops, this time with punches being thrown.

The brawl carries on for less than a minute, when the City of Poughkeepsie Police arrive on scene. The Police SUV drives right up onto the sidewalk and the crowd disperses very quickly.

The City of Poughkeepsie along with Newburgh and Middletown were recently named among the most dangerous cities in New York. The video above is a prime example of the issues plaguing the area.
