
City of Newburgh K-9 Passes Away
The City of Newburgh Police Department has lost an important member of their family.
According to their Facebook page, City of Newburgh Police Departments K-9 Bella has passed away. The post explains that Bella died due to medical complications at 5 1/2 years old.
K-9 Bella was handled by Officer Hinspeter and was a certified explosive detection and patrol canine. According to the Newburgh Police Department, Bella was "a dedicated crime-fighter who routinely took time to engage and interact with kids and members of the community on a regular basis."
The young K-9 has been credited to several apprehensions and finds.
