As one theater closed its doors this week, a new cinema company is swooping in to renovate the existing location.

The Regal Cinemas 12 located in the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston closed up for good this week. The Hull Property Group, who owns the mall has now announced that NCG Cinema will be taking Regal's place.

NCG Cinema in the Hudson Valley Mall will feature a newly renovated interior and exterior. All 12 auditoriums will feature recliner chairs and assigned seating in addition to state of the art sound and projections systems.

NCG offers affordable movie tickets, free refills on popcorn and soda, select $5 movie tickets on Tuesdays and a loyalty program for moviegoers.

Jim Hull, Managing Principal of Hull Property Group said:

We are dedicated to providing customers with a quality moving going experience. NCG Cinema is a first-class addition to the Mall. The addition of the new theater coupled with the recent renovation of the mall’s interior are indicators that we will be a good long-term steward of this important property. We are continuing to pursue other opportunities for the property which will take advantage of our unique location and ability to facilitate needs of tenants desiring to serve the entire Hudson Valley community

Work on the new theater will begin next month with the opening expected in January.
