First responders rushed to a Hudson Valley school after an accident injured two.

On Thursday, two staff members were installing a new hot water heater at Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School. During the installation process, both staff members were sprayed with hot water, according to a post from Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School website.

There were no injuries to any student, officials say. 911 was called, responded to the scene and both workers are now being treated for undisclosed injuries. The Port Jervis school district didn't mention the job title for either staff member.

There was no impact to students, additional staff members or the instructional day, officials say.
