WPDH Album of the Week: Van Halen ‘1984’

Van Halen released their sixth studio album 1984 in January of 1984 and it became one of the band's best selling albums. Along with Van Halen's debut album, 1984 went on to sell over 10 million copies. Several singles we released off the album including the number 1 single "Jump", along with hits "Panama", "I'll Wait", and "Hot for Teacher". The album received good reviews from critics including Rolling Stone which ranked 1984 number 81 on it's list of the 100 Greatest Albums of the 1980s.
