WPDH Album of the Week: Rolling Stones ‘Goats Head Soup’

Released in August of 1973, Goats Head Soup is the Rolling Stones 11th British and 13th American studio album. The album features 10 tracks written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards including the lead single "Angie". The single hit number 1 in the U.S. as did the album, topping the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. Rolling Stone magazine called the album "one of the year's richest musical experiences." The album went triple platinum in the U.S.
