WPDH Album of the Week: Kiss ‘Destroyer’

Released in 1976 on the Casablanca label, Destroyer was the third consecutive Kiss album to reach the Top 40 in the U.S. and it was the first Kiss album to reach platinum status. Singles from the album included "Shout it Out Loud", "Detroit Rock City", and "Beth".
Destroyer marked a departure from the band's raw sound of the first three albums and it was the first Kiss album to feature outside musicians, like the New York Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Produced by Bob Ezrin, 3 to 4 million copies of Destroyer have reportedly been sold.
