Billy Squier released his third studio album Emotions in Motion in July 1982 on Capitol Records. The album featured the hit single "Everybody Wants You", which peaked at number 32 on the Billbaord Hot 100 chart and held the number 1 spot on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for 6 weeks. Other hits included the title track "Emotions in Motion", "Learn How to Live", and "She's a Runner". Emotions in Motion would become one of Billy Squier's most popular albums, eventually going double platinum.
