Wait a minute, a Shake Shack location opened in the Hudson Valley and we weren't informed? Why didn't anyone let us know?

For those of you who are new to Shake Shack, the fast-food mecca has been a burger legend ever since it first opened in Madison Square Park back in 2000. Legions of fans would line up for hours just to grab a burger and shake, paving the way for more locations that quickly opened throughout New York City.

The brainchild of restaurant guru, Danny Meyer, has spread like wildfire over the past decade, opening even more locations at JFK, Citi Field and beyond. Loyal Shake Shack fans continue to line up for Shackburgers, concretes and crinkle-cut fries.

As a fan myself, I was shocked to find out that there is actually now a Shake Shack location right here in the Hudson Valley. Woodbury Common is the newest home to a Shake Shack restaurant. As a part of their newly-remodeled Market Hall, Shake Shack joins other NYC staples like Pret a Manger, Pinkberry and a soon-to-open Magnolia Bakery location. Red velvet cupcakes AND a ShackMeister ale? Count me in.

So who's up for a road trip to Harriman? I'll save a spot for you in line.
