A ghost hunting library expert from the Hudson Valley competed on Jeopardy! this week. So how did she do?

Emily Perez from Wappingers Falls appeared on the March 7 episode of Jeopardy! where she matched wits with two other contestants on topics ranging from the Galapagos Islands to Fishing.

During the portion of the show where Alex Trebek interviews the contestants, Perez revealed that she spends her time hunting ghosts in the Hudson Valley. When asked by Trebek whether she's ever found one, she said although she hasn't seen one, she did hear one. Alex wasn't convinced, earning a pointed finger from Perez who chastised him for being a skeptic.

Even with help from the supernatural, Perez was unable to keep up with her competitors during most of the game. At the end of round one, the Wappingers Falls woman's total winnings was negative $200. Perez briefly came back towards the end of Double Jeopardy! and decided to risk it all on the final question.
