Two Orange County men are facing drug possession charges in Dutchess County after state police stopped them for erratic driving on Route 52. 

Dominick P. Dziewiecki, 18, of Middletown (left) was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and driving while ability impaired by Drugs. Also arrested was John R. McGuire, 20, of Montgomery (right) for criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

According to a press release, Troopers stopped a vehicle that was driving erratically on Rt.52 in the Town of Fishkill. Following an investigation, it was determined that the driver, Dziewiecki, was impaired by drugs. Dziewiecki and McGuire were additional charged with unlawfully possessing Alprazolam.

Both subjects were arraigned in City of Beacon Court. Dziewiecki was remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. McGuire was also remanded to Dutchess County Jail  lieu of $5,000 cash or $5,000 bond.
