Maybe we can get some Hudson Valley farmers in on this trend.

This week a video started making the rounds on social media, naturally everyone is talking about it. According to the Huffington Post, Jay Lavery shared a video of himself doing some chores around his barn at Permaculture Inn in Sharon Springs, New York, just outside of Albany. What started as a joke between his family and friends on Facebook has now been seen by millions. Lavery is seen sweeping some hay and then breaking it down to pop singer Sia's monster hit "Cheap Thrills."

The video which was posted on December 30th has been seen over 5 million times and has been shared by 60,000 people. Lavery tells Huffingston Post that he's no stranger to posting silly material to his facebook page, but never has he received reaction like this. He went on to tell the site that he wasn't doing this just for fun, but as a way to deal with back pain after suffering a major back injury 15 years ago. Lavery says he hopes the video will “inspire anyone to move in spite of pain and I hope this puts a smile on your face for the New Year.”

All right Hudson Valley, we know we have some farmers out there. Let's see your barn chore dance moves.
