The Cars First Top Ten Album, Shake It Up

This Sunday night we'll feature the first top ten album from The Cars, Shake It Up on the WPDH Album of the Week.

Released on November 6, 1981, Shake It Up is the fourth studio album from The Cars and the first to become a Billboard Top Ten.

The album went double platinum in the United States and hit Number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album produced five singles that spent time on the charts: Shake It Up, Cruiser, Since You're Gone, Victim of Love, and Think It Over.
