The 31st Annual Giant Pumpkin Party and Children’s Parade is Saturday
It's that time of the year again. The 31st Annual Giant Pumpkin Party and Children’s Parade to benefit the Daniel Pierce Library is this Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Grahamsville. It's an old time country fair and festival focusing on children and reading.
There will something for everyone in the whole family. A costume parade, pony rides, , petting zoo, live country music, hay rides, a hay maze, a benefit book sale,, harvest baking contest, delicious food, a bake sale, and a raffle featuring more than forty prizes. There will also be lots of contests. A pumpkin decorating contest, country baking contest, an obstacle course, hay bale throwing contest, and theme float contest. Prizes and/or trophies will be awarded for each. Admission and parking are free.
