Hudson Valley Restaurants Offering Special Services, Discounts
In times like these, it’s important to stay calm, healthy and most importantly stand together. Some of us have chosen to mainly stay home except for work. Let’s not forget to stay connected with friends, family and each other. Here in the Hudson Valley, we do a great job of supporting each other, local businesses and shops all year long. This is also our time to show how we can come together to do our part.
Let’s not forget small businesses at this time. We can buy gift cards, choose a delivery option or take out if we don’t feel comfortable dining in. Most establishments have limited the occupancy in their dining room and have spread out tables and chairs. In addition, some businesses are offering discounted prices on to-go orders as well. Curbside pickup is also an added feature that some local businesses have put into place.
With all of this being said, let's support local businesses, restaurants and shops. We're all in this together and can support each other. Here are a few establishments that I saw are adding special features to their menu and services at this time.
Dutchess County
Barbaro is starting delivery service on Sunday, March 15. Delivery will be offered within a five-mile radius of the restaurant with a $35 minimum order. A delivery fee of $10 will apply to orders under $100. The delivery fee will be waived for orders over $100. Barbaro can also deliver beer. Dine-in and curbside takeout is also still available.

County Fare is offering $20 growler fills of local craft beers on tap and 20% off all take-off orders.

During the weekend of Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, Lia's Mountain View will offer delivery from 4:30-8PM within a 5-mile radius and for a $20 minimum. Curbside pickup and order to go are also available. Lia's may extend these services if the health crisis continues. If you're dining in, try their Quarantined on a Beach cocktail with vodka, tequila, gin, rum, Triple Sec and soda. (That should have you forgetting about COVID-19 pretty quickly!)

They have added touch-free sanitizers throughout their restaurant and added disposable serving ware and glasses. Terrapin Restaurant has added new curbside pick-up option and takeout orders as well. You’ll have the option to pay over the phone and can get your food brought out to you upon arrival.

- Chianti Cow Restaurant
They have announced that they are using disposable menus. They are also increasing their daily sanitizing and cleaning practices within their establishment. Lastly, they are offering curbside assistance for all takeout orders via phone. They will bring out your food upon arrival.

They have created a separation between tables to make more room for guests to feel comfortable. Christopher’s Bistro also added Curbside Pick up as an option for dining out. You can call the number below to place your order.

The Anchor has started offering curbside pickup. Place a takeout order through their website and call once you're outside the restaurant for pickup. Starting Tuesday, The Anchor will be doing food delivery for both lunch and dinner starting Tuesday.
