Some say New York state has too many laws. However, there might be a few Suffolk County neighbors who were happy to see this rule enforced.

NBC New York is reporting that the New York state Department of Environmental Conservation removed a six foot-long alligator was from a Medford, Long Island home Sunday.
Someone had called the SPCA that the unidentified person was had the reptile at their home.

When authorities showed up, they found the animal out back in a heated shed.

The animal was removed from the property. No word yet as to what will happen to the alligator, but authorities say it's in good health.
