Shawshank Redemption Back in Hudson Valley Theaters
Only for two days!
If you are a movie person like me, one of the best movies to come out in the '90s was the Shawshank Redemption. It hit theaters in 1994 and introduced us to Andy Dufresne who was wrongly convicted of murdering his wife and her lover and set to jail at Shawshank.
I will never forget the quote "Put your trust in the Lord, your ass belongs to me. Welcome to Shawshank." Or of course, "Get busy living or get busy dying."
Well if you never got to see it on the big screen, it's the 25th anniversary of the movie and to celebrate the folks at Fathom Events have scheduled a couple of big-screen showings of the classic movie the Shawshank Redemption.
The showings will take place in the Hudson Valley on Tuesday, September 24th and Wednesday, September 25th at the Poughkeepsie Galleria on Route 9 at the Regal Galleria Mall Stadium 16. Showtime both nights is at 7 p.m.
You can get tickets here and like they said in the movie, "Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."
Listen to the Boris & Robyn Show weekday mornings from 6AM to 10AM through your WPDH mobile app. Connect with WPDH on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
