Is your child interested in science?  Do you know a child that is interested in science? The Red Hook Library might have just the thing for that child.  It is the Science Saturday Series for kids in third through fifth grade.  The series kicks off this Saturday, Oct. 8 and runs through Dec. 3.  There will be two sessions each Saturday, at 1 and 2:30 pm.

What is the Saturday Science Series?  Your child will join student interns from Bard College’s Center for Civic Engagement in learning all about science.  During these sessions they will get to conduct experiments, take part in hands-on activities, and learn all about the major branches of science.  The Saturday Science Series is free and open to the public.  Sign up in person at the library.

The Red Hook Library is located at 7444 South Broadway in Red Hook.  For more information about the Saturday Science Series, and other events happening at the Red Hook Library, visit http://redhooklibrary.org/.
