Port Jervis Police Search for Armed Robber
Police in Port Jervis are searching for a man that allegedly forcibly robbed a man and fired several shots at the victim.
On September 15 at 4:33 a.m., Port Jervis City Police Officers responded to the intersection of Seward Avenue and Ball Street in the Fourth Ward section of the City of Port Jervis for a report of multiple gunshots being fired.
An investigation into the incident revealed that a Port Jervis male was forcibly robbed at gunpoint inside a nearby residence and that several gunshots were fired at the victim during the incident.
The victim was not struck by the gunfire and not injured during the incident. Port Jervis Police ask anyone from the public with information about this incident to contact Port Jervis Police at (845) 856-5101.
The investigation is being conducted by the Port Jervis City Police with assistance of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the New York State Police
