Hudson Valley pet owners are ready to dress up their four-legged friends in hopes of earning big cash.

The fourth annual Boris & Robyn Show Halloween Pet Costume Contest will take place on Saturday, October 27 with free trick or treating and a chance to earn a $500 grand prize.

Pets and their owners will assemble at Petco on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie for an afternoon of four-legged trick-or-treating and other family friendly activities. Meta Marcy will be giving pet psychic readings and there will be other free games and activities for the whole family.

Of course, the main event is the annual costume contest. Pets of all shapes and sizes will strut their stuff on the Halloween runway in front of our panel of judges to see who gets to take home this year's grand prize of a $500 Petco Gift Card. This year, the second place will get a $100 Petco gift card and third place will win a gift basket. But of course, all of the animals are winners and will have their photos posted at WPDH.com where they can show off their costumes to the entire Hudson Valley.

Those interested in registering their pets should just show up at Petco onRoute 9 in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, October 27 between Noon and 2pm. A suggested donation of $5 will be collected for each entry to benefit Pets Alive.

For more details, be sure to stay tuned to The Boris and Robyn Show weekday mornings from 6am to 10am on 101.5 WPDH.
