Pennsylvania Man May Have Taken the Happiest Mugshot Ever

This may very well be the happiest mugshot ever.

Police say 41 year-old David Kalb was arrested after they they found 70 psychedelic mushroom plants and other drug paraphernalia inside his apartment in Westmoreland, PA.

Authorities received a disturbance call Monday evening at around 6:30 p.m. When officers arrived they found Kalb standing outside his neighbor's door. The Pennsylvania man told police that he had lost his keys and that his neighbor had an extra. Trooper Ryan Marmol wrote in a criminal complaint that police led him to that apartment then back to his own.

WTAE reports that once they were back at Kalb's apartment, police discovered the mushrooms.

Coincidentally, the public housing apartment complex where the drugs were found is called Hempfield Towers.

Kalb was arraigned on charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, as well as possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for December 15. The smiling Kalb is currently being held on $10,000 bail.
