We've got an exclusive sneak peek at Pat Benatar's Audience Network concert special with guitarist and husband Neil Giraldo, which premieres tonight. Benatar and Giraldo are featured in an intimate setting, as they perform her 1980 hit "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" in the above video.

As has become her tradition with this song, Benatar invites the crowd to join in. "Every year I pretend I'm not going to do it, and of course I do it – and I make audiences sing it," she told Reuters. "I love to go out and play every summer. I don't want to sit home and make records in a vacuum. You write songs and make records for your pleasure, but you need to share. It's seductive for me still."

The special also includes an in-depth interview in which Benatar and Giraldo discuss their shared history as musical partners and spouses, as well as their musical influences and latest projects. The gold-selling "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" became Benatar's first Top 10 single. This exclusive clip above also includes "Outlaw Blues" from 1984's Tropico.

Benatar and Giraldo's collaboration goes back to her 1979 debut album, In the Heat of the Night – which yielded the No. 23 hit "Heartbreaker." She married Giraldo – who began producing their music with 1981's Precious Time – in 1982; they have two daughters. Benatar and Giraldo are currently on tour, with dates tonight and on Monday in Florida.

The new Audience Network special, simply titled Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, airs at 8PM ET tonight on DirecTV and U-verse via satellite and streaming.
