Warmer Than Usual Fall Predicted for the Hudson Valley
If you're holding off for colder temperatures, then the recent long-range forecast for the northeast might make you happy. The National Weather Service says that temperatures this fall for the eastern United states are expected to be above average. Syrcuse.com reports that the Climate Prediction Center goes a little further with this, by saying we're looking at 50 to 60% odds of a warm fall.
Most of the United States is expected to see warmer than normal temperatures this fall, though the northeast and southwest are expected to feel it the most, according to the NWS.
Precipitation levels should stay about the same.
