Bad news for Mets fans.

First baseman Lucas Duda was placed on the disabled list with a stress fracture in his back. The Mets are saying he will miss at least four to six weeks of action.

Duda missed both games, Saturday and Sunday, as the Mets defeated the Milwaukee Brewers. The injury has been a puzzling one for the Mets, as no one seems to be able to pinpoint when the injury first occurred.

For now, manager Terry Collins says the Mets may move outfielder Michael Conforto to first base, or use other options. The Mets have also called up Triple-A prospect Ty Kelly.

Duda is batting .231 with seven home runs and 19 RBIs in 39 games on the year. He has had his struggles as of late, which are likely attributed to the nagging injury.

Collins as gone on record saying that the injury is "very concerning".
