My Lost Treasure: Happy Birthday Elton John

Today Sir Elton John celebrates his 72nd birthday. He sure has done a lot in his 72 years. So, we will honor him and celebrate his birthday with one of my favorite Elton John songs.

I had a hard time deciding which song to pick, since there are so many great ones. I finally narrowed it down to two songs. And I ended up choosing the older of the two because I love them both. The one I did not choose is Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. I do love it, but the one I picked I love just a wee bit more.

Many of my friends have seen Elton John on his latest tour, which he says is his last. They all had great things to say, and one of my friends loved it so much he went twice. I'm pretty sure he spent a lot of money to do it, but he says it was money well spent. I have never seen Elton in concert, and I guess I probably never will. Sad but true.

Happy Birthday Elton! You have brought some great music into my life, and for that, I say thank you.
