The Hudson Valley will see warmer temperatures as we go into the final week of March. There will be a chance of rain however for most of the week.

After a chilly weekend, temperatures should be more seasonable, as highs will climb into the 50s and even 60s by Monday through Wednesday. Lows will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

There will be a chance of showers early in the week, as the area will generally experience mostly cloudy skies. Forecasters say Wednesday will bring the best bet of sunny weather.

The chance of rain will return later in the week, as slightly cooler weather will return. Highs will be around 50, with lows going down to the low to mid 30s.

There could be a chance of freezing precipitation at night in the northern areas, as well as some of the higher elevations in the Catskills. The good news is that the warmer weather will keep most the precipitation as rain rather than snow.
