An Orange County woman turned 101-year-old. To help her celebrate, she is hoping to receive 101 birthday cards from strangers.

Julia Miller grew up in Rochester and worked on Wall Street. She was married for 35 years and has spent the past five years living at the Montgomery Nursing Home.

Miller turned 100-year-old last year. Because she doesn’t have any family a friend started a campaign to celebrate her milestone birthday and let her know she is not forgotten. According to ABC 7, Julia said the highlight of that birthday was having 100 birthday cards mailed to her from strangers.

"She has a lot of life, she's wonderful. She likes to be kept busy, so we keep her busy with our four jobs," Noreen Colletti, of Montgomery Nursing Home, told Eyewitness News.

At the Orange County nursing home, Miller is the president of council meetings, broadcasts the morning announcements, proofreads newsletters, and leads the nightly exercise routine.

Clearly Julia can do it all, but she could still use your help. She turned 101 on Wednesday and is a little short of her goal of 101 birthday cards.Currently she has over 800 birthday cards, with more still coming in the mail.

Even though her birthday has past, you can still mail her a card to:
