I’ve heard stories from my family about how residents shopped at this Hudson Valley store for generations.

Upon arrival, I noticed the outdoor display options that they had. It reminded me of scenes from movies that dated back to the 1950’s, highlighting window shopping. Inside of this Ulster County, NY store, I was greeted by friendly staff members and saw the historic charm of this business.

Montano’s Shoes is known for being “one of the oldest and largest family-owned shoe stores in the country.” They’re located in Saugerties, NY and first opened in the 1900’s.

I love that this historical and family owned, Hudson Valley business is open and provides support for our feet. So far, I'm loving my new New Balance sneakers and appropriate insoles!
