It all started at approximately 10 a.m. Monday when police said a woman had jumped from the bridge and as they responded to the scene and began to investigate it was determined that 52-year-old Dawn Stackhouse from Beekman, New York had jumped from the span according to a press release. Police didn't provide any other details as it is still an ongoing investigation but did say that a couple of good Samaritans who were fishing near the bridge discovered Stackhouse and removed her from the water and quickly began to administer life-saving measures.

Once first responders arrived on the scene Stackhouse was then transported to Health Alliance Hospital in Kingston where she was pronounced deceased. Police also said there are no signs of foul play at this time. When more information becomes available we will update this article.
