See What’s New at OCFS for the Last Weekend of Racing in Middletown
The racing season wraps up this week at the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, NY with 4 big days of racing excitement, the 63rd Eastern State Weekend starts Thursday and runs through Sunday.
Weather looks great and so do the racers. Along with all the traditions race fans will also get to enjoy two new features this year at Eastern States. It may not have been a full season of racing this year at OCFS but the final event this year is going to be big.
Four Big Days of Racing this Week in Middletown, New York
Race fans who head to the speedway this weekend can take advantage of two new features at the track. The first is a new VIP viewing area which the Speedway thanked Tommy Balassone of Burnout Nationals for installing. The VIP viewing deck will be open during Eastern States Weekend. Day passes will be available at the Pit ticket booth.
The other new feature fans can enjoy involves on on track photo opportunity. It is the new Fan Zone. Located at the half covered grandstand on the front straightaway it makes for a great race memory photo. Street Stock racer Tyler Romer an Speedway Ambassador Shelby Jo Murphy are pictured below in the Fan Zone.
The 2024 Eastern States Racing Schedule at the Orange County Fair Speedway
There is a full schedule of racing events from October 24th through the 27th at the Orange County Fair Speedway. Thursday is the Hard Clay Finale with Drive-in gates opening at 12 PM, Pits opening at 2 PM and the Grandstand at 3 PM. Racing starts at 7 PM.
