Hudson Valley Teen Dies in Shooting

A Newburgh teen has lost his life, following a shooting in the city of Newburgh, early Saturday.

Police responded to a call of shots fired, early Saturday in the Lake Drive apartments.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they found 16-year old Terence West had suffered a gunshot wound. He was transported to St.Luke's hospital where he later died, as reported by HVNN.

There have been no arrrests made in connection with the shooting. State police and the Orange County District Attorney's office are assisting city of Newburgh police with the investigation.

Since the investigation is on-going, no additional information can be released at this time.
