With the help of a Hudson Valley business, a few clients lost weight and ended up detecting breast cancer. The potentially lifesaving business is now helping others with breast cancer.

During the month of October, Stronger U Nutrition from Newburgh is going to donate 100% of their proceeds from their Stronger U Nutrition breast cancer themed apparel to a charity that helps with the research, prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

“Being in a business where 70% of our clients are women we feel it's our duty to give back to fight breast cancer,” Stronger U Nutrition CEO and Founder Mike Doehla said. “We've had clients beat it and some clients even detect it because of fat loss.”

Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer deaths among women, according to the CDC.

Doehla started his nutrition business out of his Newburgh home in April of 2015. In two-plus years the business has helped over 7,000 people across 35 countries.

The Stronger U Nutrition diet is macronutrient based. After speaking with a coach the client is given macronutrient goals to reach on a daily basis, which allows for a structured yet flexible diet.

“Everyone who has followed the program has been thrilled with the changes they have seen in body composition, performance, how they feel moving through everyday life and most importantly, self-confidence,” Doehla told Hudson Valley Post.

On top of the donating all the proceeds from their Stronger U Nutrition breast cancer themed apparel the company plans to add an additional donation.
