There are plenty of new businesses opening across the area, and one such place is quite unique. Have you ever wanted to train like a ninja? Sounds fun, but we're not talking about hand-to-hand combat or using weapons. This has to do more with athletics and moving around a lot. With many people looking for an excuse to head back the gym now that the worst of COVID seems to be behind us, this could be your new thing.

LoHud says that a new kind of gym called ROAM Further Athletics opened in Mount Kisco in January 2022. Their website describes their facility as a "home and waypoint for movement-minded adventure seekers with a passion for leading active lifestyles.". This isn't so much about weights as it is climbing, running, obstacle courses, and lots of moving. They offer classes, one-on-one, and camps for all ages.

Other New Businesses in That Area of the Hudson Valley 

A new business is coming soon to the old Kmart location at the Crossroads Shopping Center. LoHud is reporting that B.J's Wholesale Club will makes its new home in the currently vacant spot in the town of Greenburgh in Westchester County. The membership-only club chain, based out of Massachusetts, offers a wide variety of very special benefits for its customers.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner says in a Facebook post that construction will begin soon, and they're looking to open the new service by the end of 2022.

As of 2020, B.J's operates over 200 spots in 17 states nationwide. They currently have Hudson Valley locations in Wappingers Falls, Newburgh, Monroe, West Nyack, Yorktown Heights, as well as a number of locations in Connecticut.
