Former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Dead at 46

The infamous politician, and former Mayor of Toronto Rob Ford has died at the age of 46, after battling cancer.

Rob Ford served one term as Mayor of Toronto from 2010-2014, and most recently served on the City Council.

Ford was admitted into the hospital in 2014 for abdominal pain. He was diagnosed with pleomorphic liposarcoma, a rare form of cancer. He had surgery to remove a tumour from his stomach. Ford also underwent many rounds of chemotherapy.

Ford is survived by his wife Renata, and their two children, Stephanie and Douglas.
