Hard to believe, but this weekend it is time to set your clocks back one hour. Say goodbye to daylight saving time, and hello to early darkness.  I used to hate this time of the year, but not anymore.

First of all, I am looking at this as a long weekend coming up. Okay, it is only an hour longer, but a long weekend just the same. I'll take it.  Second of all, I now go to bed at 8PM or 8:30PM. That is something that is a lot easier to do when it gets dark early. It is much easier these days to see this glass as half full.

So, before you go to bed this Saturday night, set your clocks back one hour. If you still have any clocks that actually need to be manually set, that is. And change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Enjoy the long weekend.
